Our approach
Based in Bristol and set up in 2003,
we are developing a model of community
conflict transformation
. We believe that:
- conflict is inevitable - it's how you react to conflict that counts
- conflict is an indication that something needs fixing - and a chance to do something about it
- people feel more confident when they are equipped with the skills to understand and deal with conflict.
Our staff & directors
Our staff team and sessional workers are drawn from a range of Bristol communities.
Our much valued volunteers, including our Board of Directors, work alongside us and keep us in touch with local needs.

£100K of new support
Big thanks to Tudor Trust, Andrews Charitable Trust, Esmee Fairbairn, Rayne Foundation and SOCA for their recent generous grants over 1, 2 and 3 years.
Their support - as well as additional funds from Bristol City Council and targeted youth funds, keeps our skilled and committed staff on board - and allows us to work alongside Bristol residents and workers from all walks of life.
Previous funders have included: Allen Lane, Avon & Somerset Police, Comic Relief, Parenting Fund, Quartet Foundation, V-inspired, Youth Opportunities Fund ...
